The Move In Process

Before we can give you your keys, all monies must be paid in full (by money orders only) to the management office. Your electricity and cooking gas must be turned on in your name. Carefully read your lease agreement and ask any questions you may have regarding this important document. Sign it only when you understand all of your legal responsibilities. Carefully read and sign all other required documents.

On your move in day, you will be greeted by a Connolly Properties representative. This representative will do a move in inspection to make sure your apartment is in acceptable condition. Carefully check the condition of your apartment. Notify the management office of any problems or defects immediately as this will protect you in case problems are found after you move out.

Rent is due on the first day of each month and there will be a 5 day grace period. Your rent (in money order or check form only) can be mailed to the office at 128 East 7th Street, Plainfield, NJ 07060 or you can stop by the office and the administrative assistant at the front window will gladly accept your payment and write you a dated receipt.

10. The Blue Star Shopping center is located on Route 22 West in Watchung, New Jersey. This shopping plaza features Kohl's, Shop Rite, Toys R Us, Petco,       Marshall's, Michael's Crafts, Joyce Leslie, Mandee, Arby's, TGI Friday, and Old Country Buffet.


Repairs and Emergency Maintenance Procedures

Should you need a repair in your apartment please call the office at 908-322-6755 and the administrative assistant that picks up your call will take down your information and place a work order for your repair. Then a member of the maintenance staff will be scheduled to complete the repair in your apartment.

In the event of an after hours maintenance emergency please call 908-322-6755 and the answering service will take down your emergency and dispatch the on-call maintenance staff.
